The process4.biz software package is an easy-to-use modeling tool, also suitable for analyzing and interpreting or evaluating business structures and processes of varying size. process4.biz provides different modeling methods based on well-known international standards (e.g., EPC, Catalyst, RACI/DEMI etc.). You are free to choose whether to employ these methods or to create and implement your own. process4.biz is a flexible tool offering several modeling alternatives but does not impose any of them on customers.

The process4.biz Core module is a Microsoft Visio-based modeling tool for Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). It includes modeling templates, but it also enables you to set up, implement, and to use your own modeling methods. This core area of our software is represented by the green center of the above figure. For more detailed information, refer to process4.biz Core.

process4.biz Additions are optionally available components and subject to fees. They are represented by the orange ring in the above figure. The figure indicates that the Core is a requirement for the two additional modules. The module process4.biz CobiT/ITIL provides a tool for strategic IT planning and network documentation for IT Audit & Revision according to the standards required by the CobiT/ITIL framework. process4.biz Dynamics AX provides an interface to Microsoft's ERP system Dynamics AX. By means of this interface, all phases of a standard Dynamics AX process can be compared with our transparently modeled process4.biz Dynamics AX framework, and individual adaptations within the ERP system can be (re-)documented. process4.biz Extensions within the process4.biz software package are available as option and are subject to fees. They may complement either the basic module alone, or a combination consisting of the basic module and one (or both) of the two additional modules. In the above figure, these extensions are represented by means of a grey circle interacting with the Core and with the Additions by means of “tentacles” that are meant to signify the relevance of these extensions for all other components of the software package. Selected structures or results gained through working with the process4.biz software can be transferred to the Microsoft Office environment for further processing or for presentation purposes. We also offer extension modules for transferring database content to the web, either as a stand-alone portal server or as a simple tool for publishing models in an intranet. The overall process4.biz software solution is of modular nature, as illustrated by the above figure and by the descriptions on this page. Several functions can be added to the Core according to your needs and requirements. The process4.biz Core (see green area in the above figure) is a perfect solution for Business Process Management and Enterprise Architecture Management and can be supplemented by the two optional Additions (orange area in the above figure), thus opening up further application areas for the software.
